On May 10th 2009 2 Guests staying at Cedar Grove Lodge saw 15 different species of birds.
They were: American Goldfinch, Chickadee, Yellow Breasted Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, Red Breasted Nuthatch, Yellow Rumped/Myrtle Warbler, Black and White Warbler, Black Throated Green Warbler, Eastern Phoebe, Common Loon, Red Winged Blackbird, Cat Bird, Merlin, Mallard Duck, Bufflehead Duck, Ruddy Duck, Greater Scaup.
